In our daily activities, we also want to apply the same principles that we apply in our business, such as reliability and quality. We are an employer that cares about the culture we build within our company and how to have a positive impact on those around us. We make sure that our employees can grow professionally, while simultaneously getting involved in society. In our surroundings, we notice those who lack certain facilities to fully participate in life and we support organisations that are dedicated to improving their life opportunities.
Being able to donate 1% of your tax is a great opportunity to help where family, home or health are not a given. Individual organisations are nominated by our employees and we vote together to select a few to support. In 2022, we support the Foundation Svetielko nádeje, the Tamara Asylum House in Trnava, the Rescue System Slovakia, the organization Plamienok and the community reuse centre Baterkáreň in Trnava.
For many years we have been interested in the running of the Centre for Children and Family in Trnava. This year we helped to equip 3 accommodation units with new tables and chairs. Our employees also took part in renovating the centre’s outdoor area.
We value the work of local producers. We buy their products, which we then donate as gifts. For example, on International Women’s Day, we donated Tamara soaps to our female employees. At the Trnava Fair we supported a textile toys manufacturer and donated them to children from the Orphanage. This way we can help twice.
Our employees are involved in charitable or socially beneficial activities in various ways. As their employer, we are proud of them and happy to support them in this regard. As part of the international #GivingTuesday initiative (a celebration of generosity, giving and volunteering), we doubled every donation made by employees.
We are committed to contributing as a company to creating a better society in which we want to work and live. That’s why we are actively involved in the drive events that are organised in our city. In addition to material and financial aid for refugees from Ukraine, we regularly participate in clothing drives. In September we supported a drive for school supplies for children from disadvantaged families, organised by a Trnava Charity.
